Mr. Geoffrey Israel Kirenga, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the SAGCOT Centre Ltd.

Mr. Kirenga has a wealth of experience in East African agriculture value chains. He is the former Director of the Crop Development Division at the Tanzania Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives. Prior to this position, Mr. Kirenga specialized in crop promotion services, pest management and plant protection. Mr. Kirenga has an extensive network in both the Tanzanian and international agriculture and agribusiness communities, and he is highly committed to drive the Southern Agricultural Growth Corridor of Tanzania to delivering on its role as the catalyst dedicated to transforming Tanzania's agriculture sector.

Mr. Kirenga holds an MSc in Entomology from the Imperial College of the University of London.

Jennifer Baarn, Deputy CEO, SAGCOT Centre Ltd.

Jennifer Baarn is an experienced professional in the development and facilitation of international public-private partnerships (PPPs), with a particular focus on the role of partnerships in agriculture as drivers of economic growth. Prior to joining the SAGCOT Centre, Jennifer was an Associate Director at the World Economic Forum (WEF) where she helped develop the WEF’s New Vision for Agriculture initiative. Jennifer spent a number of years in financial services at Rabobank International, identifying growth opportunities in food and agribusiness and developing key insights into the agricultural sector. A South American who has lived in Europe and holds a passion for Africa, Jennifer brings knowledge and experience from around the globe to apply in furthering the objectives of SAGCOT.
